Modifying Network Settings from the Control Panel

To change the IP addresses of the LAN A and LAN B ports:

On the Control Panel window, click the Network Settings button (see figure 41,
, on page 42. The Network Settings window opens.

If desired, enter a name of 1 to 15 characters for your Quantum Ultra in the Device
Name field (see figure 54,

in this name.
NOTES:
The device name must start with a letter.
All letters in the Device Name field are displayed in uppercase. By default the
device name is QU610- followed by the last three hex pairs of MAC address.
Select the tab for the LAN port to configure (LAN A or LAN B) (

Enter the addresses in the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and
DNS Server fields (
