Pressure Relief Procedure
Machines equipped with
Performance Monitor Plus Refer to
Fig. 1
1. Close Supply air pressure valve.
2. Supply Ram Integrated Air Controls:
Close the air motor slider valves (BF) and
the main air slider valves (BA) on both
Supply Pumps. Refer to Fig. 24
3. Set the ram director valve to DOWN. The
ram will slowly drop.
4. Jog the director valve up and down to bleed
air from ram cylinders.
5. At each Supply Pump open the fluid line
drain valve and the pump bleeder valve.
Have a container ready to catch the
drainage.
6. From the HMI select Supply Pumps. Select
Supply Pump Manual for A and B materials.
Automatic Ratio Valve
Refer to Fig. 26
7. Locate containers under the A and B Ratio
Valves. From the HMI Main Menu select the
Setup Screen. Select the Dispense Setup
Screen. Under the Ratio Valve control
select the Open button. Leave the Ratio
valves open until all gauges on the Metering
pump read zero pressure. From the HMI
select Ratio Valve Auto.
Manual Ratio Valve
Refer to Fig. 27
7. Locate container under mixer. From the
HMI Main Menu select the Setup Screen.
Select the Dispense Setup Screen. Under
the Dispense Valve control select the Open
button. Leave Dispense valve open until all
gauges on the Metering pump read zero
pressure. From the HMI select Dispense
Valve Auto. (For detailed information on the
screen functions see the Operator Screens
section)
8. Depress manual override on 4-Way Valve
solenoid several times. This will shift 4 way
manually until pressure has been relieved.
If pressure remains on gauges repeat step
7.

Mixed material could be present in Lower
Dispense Block and Mixer. Remove Lower
Dispense block and clean mixer.
