Mixer Flush

Machines equipped with Base
Purge Refer to Fig. 26 and Fig. 27
CAUTION
Base Purge will help prevent the static mixer from
curing material during machine down time. It is
recommended to remove lower dispense block
and mixer daily for cleaning.
Automatic Base Purge
Refer to Fig. 26
1.
From the Main Menu Select the Setup
Screen. Select the Purge Settings Screen.
2. Place a container under the Static Mixer
Assembly.
3. Press the Start Base Mixer Purge button. At
this time the base purge valve will open and
the A supply Ram will deliver base material
through the mixer.
4. Continue to Base purge until sufficient
material has been purged through.
purge time is application and material
specific. Additional mixer cleaning is
recommended.
5. Press the Stop Base Mixer Purge button.
Manual Base Purge
Refer to Fig. 27
1. Place a container under the Static Mixer
Assembly.
Manual Dispense Valve Control
Refer to Fig. 29
2. Open Base Purge Ball Valve. A supply Ram
will deliver base material through the mixer.

Pneumatic Dispense Valve Control
Refer to Fig. 21
2. Open Base Purge Ball Valve. From
Dispense Valve Control Select Dispense
point OFF. Select A Feed Pump ON. A
Supply Ram will deliver base material
through mixer.
3. Continue to Base purge until sufficient
material has been purged through. Base
purge time is application and material
specific. Additional mixer cleaning is
recommended.
4. Close Base Purge Ball Valve.
