6. Lightly oil the sealing lip on the new seal and put
it on the tool 999 6872, with the lip facing the
crankshaft.
NOTE! The seal is originally installed in position (1),
see fig.
The tool's installation position (2) is when the
crankshaft has a measurable wear, in position (1).
Use a drift and gently knock the seal into required
position.
