5.1 Starting Operation
When starting up the main unit (FP2), always turn on the main power supply to the
S−LINK (the external power supply) first (or turn both power supplies on at the same
time).

If a local power supply is being used for I/O devices connected to the system and for
S−LINK I/O devices, make sure the local power supply is turned on before the S−LINK
main power supply (or turn both power supplies on at the same time).
