5. Troubleshooting
Message
"A communication timeout has
occurred."
"Please try again or contact your
administrator."
"Failed to connect."
"Check if the passcode is correct."
"Terminal (IP Address) tried to
connect but was unable to
participate because the passcode
did not match."

Cause
• The network cable is not
connected or
disconnected.
• It is used at a place with
narrow network band or
bad radio wave state
(only Remote Viewer).
• Network setting has an
error.
• IP address of the
connection destination
which shares a
whiteboard has an error.
• The sharing of the
whiteboard on the
connection destination is
not started.
• The transmitting side port
number required for
sharing of a whiteboard
is not permitted (only
Remote Viewer).
The passcode is not in
agreement.
The passcode input by the
apparatus which participates
in the share is not in
agreement.
Solution
• Check whether the
network cable is
connected and not
disconnected.
• Network bands and the
wireless radio wave state
(only Remote Viewer) are
checked.
• Network setting is
checked from the
administrator set menu
(setting of an IP address
and a default gateway is
indispensable).
• Check whether the IP
address of the connection
destination sharing a
whiteboard is right.
• Check that the sharing of
the whiteboard on the
connection destination is
started.
• Open Windows Firewall,
and check whether the
transmitting side port
number (80, 61616,
50000-50002) required
for sharing a whiteboard
is permitted (only Remote
Viewer).
Input the correct passcode,
and connect again.
By the apparatus which
participates in a share, the
right passcode is inputted and
it connects again.
