5. Troubleshooting
Defect in the sensor signal
Problem
The coordinate position (pointer
on the screen) is away from the
position of the nib (the form of
the writing will not get confused
greatly).
• Featherings occur in the
writing.
• Writing breaks off.
• Cannot write at all.

Cause
Position gap of the position
sensor
• The reflecting plate is
dirty, or something is
placed on the
reflecting plate.
• Sensitivity not adjusted
• The position sensor
harness catches the
vibration of the nib.
Solution
• Positioning of the touch sensor
is carried out in the
adjustment menu.
• When it is not solved with the
above, carry out the
Advanced position adjustment
in the service mode.
• Check that nothing is placed
on the reflecting plate, and
the plate is not dirty.
• From the setting menu, carry
out the sensor sensitivity
adjustment (optical axis
adjustment).
• Check that the position sensor
harness is not touching the
display frame.
