7. Note the orientation of the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module. Then, lower the Super Capacitor
Module and gently slide it until it is secured by the mounting studs on the chassis.
Note: Depending on your server model, refer to one of the following illustrations below.

8. Connect the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module to a RAID card.

To remove the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module, do the following:
1. Remove all external media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the server. Then,
disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to
the server.
2. Prepare your server. See "Removing or extending the server from the rack cabinet" on page 57.
3. Remove the server cover. See "Removing the server cover" on page 57.
4. Disconnect the cable of the ThinkServer RAID Super Capacitor Module from the RAID card.
