6. Locate the connector for the RAID 500 or 520i upgrade key on the Lenovo ThinkServer RAID 500 or 520i
PCIe Adapter. Then, insert the RAID upgrade key into the connector. Ensure that the RAID upgrade
key is securely seated.
Note: If necessary, remove the ThinkServer RAID adapter first before installing the RAID upgrade key.
After you install the RAID upgrade key, reinstall the ThinkServer RAID adapter. See "Removing a
PCIe card" on page 88.

RAID 5 and RAID 50 levels are available for your server if your server has the required number of hard
