If you load paper of identical size and direction in two or more
trays, the machine shifts to another tray when the tray in use runs
out of paper.
default: Yes
Tray priority: LCT → Tray 3 → Tray 1 → Tray 2
* If you do not have the optional large capacity tray
(LCT), it is skipped.
The paper tray for cover sheet, slip sheet, translucent paper, or
tab sheet set using the User Tools are not selected by Auto Tray
Switching.
In the default setting, narrow margins on all four sides will not be
copied as shown in the illustration.

You can make copies without a blank side (b) and trailing (c)
margins.
default: No
You cannot cancel the leading margin (a).
You can also select this mode using the Program/Special
Feature key. The setting set in Special Feature mode is reset to
the setting set in this User Tool by auto reset, pressing the Clear
Modes key, turning off the main switch, or weekly timer.
In Cover mode, the original image is copied on cover sheets as a
default setting. You can cancel this setting, and add blank cover
sheets.
