4. Adjust tension on the slack strap wire:
a. Loosen the collet grub screw D with a 2 mm Allen
key. Note the spring F will now pull the collet arm
C against the switch so it is open circuit.
b. Lift the strap E off the slack strap wire B and lift
up the slack strap wire.
c. Retighten the collet grub screw D.
5. Test the loose strap function. Refer to chapter 5.3
Checking Loose Strap Function, page 29. This test can
be carried out with the hoist remaining on the table.
6. If the fault is rectified, re-assemble the hoist and reset
the emergency stop.

CAUTION!
Static electricity can damage the PCBs inside the
hoist.
Before working in the inside of the hoist:
– Pull the red emergency strap to turn off the
hoist.
– Remove the hoist from the track system. (Refer
to 3.2 Dismounting the ceiling hoist, page 10)
– Remove the cover from the hoist. (Refer to 3.4
Removing the hoist cover, page 13)
– An anti-static mat must be used when working
inside the ceiling hoist.
