Note: Use Category 5e UTP cables for copper Ethernet ports if the installation environment
requires radiated noise immunity <= 3 V/m, conducted noise immunity <= 3 V.
Use Category 5e shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables for copper Ethernet ports if the installation
environment requires radiated noise immunity > 3 V/m, conducted noise immunity > 3 V.
The equipment is suitable for installation as part of the Common Bonding Network (CBN).
The equipment is suitable for installation in locations where the National Electrical Code (NEC)
applies.
Canada
This Class A digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.

The gateway has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which
case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
Lithium Battery
Batteries in this product are not based on mercury, lead, or cadmium substances. The batteries
used in this product are in compliance with EU Directives 91/157/EEC, 93/86/EEC, and 98/101/EEC.
The product documentation includes instructional information on the proper method of
reclamation and recycling.
The emitted sound pressure is 0 dB (acoustic noise) (negligible—only passive cooling is used).
Comply with the following cabling recommendations:
Use shielded or unshielded cable, as required. For more information, see Table 4 on page 10.
