Switching the circuit-breaker off
The circuit-breaker is opened under the following conditions:
● After a normal "off command".
● By two OFF commands via LA - K32 and LA - K33, if one of the following switch-off
If the motor circuit-breaker MA - Q11 trips, an appropriate warning is issued.
The capacitor release supplies the auxiliary voltage for switching off the circuit-breaker several
minutes after failure of the input voltage.

Controlled outgoing circuit for auxiliary equipment 400 V 3 AC (option N30)

This option includes a controlled outgoing feeder for external auxiliaries (3 AC 400 V, max.
4 KW). The controlled outgoing feeder is protected by a circuit breaker. The circuit breaker
setting range is cos phi = 0.8 (7 A up to 10 A).
The option can be used to operate external fans on motors and pumps and oil supply units. The
"ON" command at the drive closes the contactor. The "OFF" command opens the contactor.
Externally provide the necessary drive power supply. The terminal assignment is provided in
the circuit diagram of the drive.

Braking resistor (option Y73)

The braking resistor is connected to the Braking Module (option L72). The description of the
Braking Module (option L72) includes a table of dimensioning data for the braking resistor.
The heat losses of the braking resistor must be taken into account when the installation room
for the drive is dimensioned. If necessary, install the braking resistor outside the room. Equip

Operating Instructions Rev.201910281332 EXAMPLE
If the "OFF feedback" from the circuit-breaker is not received via terminal LA - K32 and
terminal LA -X52:9 within the deactivation monitoring time. The output voltage (capacitor
voltage) of the release is then applied to the OFF coil of the circuit-breaker via LA - K33 and
terminal X52:13.
conditions is fulfilled:
– One of the two voltage monitoring systems LA - A71 responds (block monitoring of the
power supply from the switchgear to terminal LA - X52: 7) or LA - A72 (monitoring of the
voltage provided to terminal LA - X52:14 by the capacitor release).
– Activation of "Emergency OFF commands" (EMERGENCY OFF button in the cabinet
door or via terminal strip).
– Tripping operation by the Power Stack Adapter after a serious fault.
