AUXILIARY VOLTAGE REGULATOR
INSPECTION
Remove the headlight
Locate the green, black and yellow wires lead-
ing from the voltage regulator (located under
the speedometer).
Check the ground connection between the
green wire and i t s terminal.
Disconnect the yellow wire and measure volt-
age at the regulator terminal: it should be 7.0-
7.5VDC.
I f voltage is too high, or if a ground fault can't
be corrected, replace the voltage regulator.
