Protect
Here you can protect one or more videos and still images to prevent accidental deletion or unprotect
them.
By default, new still images are not protected.
1. Perform steps 1 to 5 from "Playback Menu" (see page 40).
2. Press the Up (2) or Down (4) button several times to select the "Protect" function and press the OK
button (5) to display the available options.

Description
Lock Current
Use this option to protect the currently selected video or still image. Confirm by
pressing the OK button (5).
Unlock Current
Use this option to unprotect the currently selected video or still image. Confirm by
pressing the OK button (5).
Lock All
Use this option to protect all captured videos and still images. Confirm by
pressing the OK button (5).
Unlock All
Use this option to unprotect all captured videos and still images. Confirm by
pressing the OK button (5).

11.4 Setup menu

The setup menu contains basic settings for your Dashboard Camera. These include date and time, car
number plate, idle time before automatic shutdown (power-saving function), parking monitor, key press
confirmation sound, on-screen menu language, mains frequency, screen saver, formatting function for the
inserted SD memory card, factory settings restore and firmware version information.
1. Power the Dashboard Camera on by pressing the On/Off button (8). Or, if you have connected the
car charger or an optional USB power adapter, the Dashboard Camera will switch on automatically
as soon as it receives power.
2. Press the OK button (5) to stop recording and then the M button (3) twice to show the Setup menu.
