Exposure compensation: The possible values range from -2.0 to +2.0 in 1/3 EV
increments.

9.1 Exposure compensation

You can define an exposure compensation value for photo capture.
1. In still image capture mode, press the M (3) button to open the menu.
2. Press the Down (4) or Up (2) button several times until the "Exposure" option is selected.
3. Press the OK button (5) to open the "Exposure" option.
4. Press the Down (4) or Up (2) button several times to highlight the desired exposure value and press
OK (5) to confirm.
5. When finished, press the M (3) button to close the menu. After you exit the menu the preview image
on the display (13) will change accordingly so that you can quickly see how the current exposure
looks like.
You may choose an exposure value between – 2 and + 2 in 1/3 exposure value increments.
If the picture is too bright, select a negative value for exposure compensation.
If the picture is too dark, select a positive value for exposure compensation.
