Sequence
When you enable this function (option "On"), three photos instead of one will be captured within a short
interval. Alternatively, select "Off" to only ever take a single image.
Quality
The Quality setting determines the compression ratio of the captured image when saved onto the memory
card. A high compression allows you to store more images, however this will lead to some quality loss.
You can capture images using the quality presets Economy, Normal and Fine. Select the appropriate
option. The selected setting will be shown on the right of the display (13) as follows during capture:

Sharpness
You can select whether you want your pictures to have soft or hard contours. You can capture images
using the sharpness presets Soft, Normal and Strong. Select the appropriate option.
White Balance
White balance is used in photography to determine a colour temperature suitable for the current lighting
conditions. The human eye has this ability: a digital camera needs a reference value to be entered first.
The corresponding icon from the table will be displayed on the display (13).
