B-7 ENGINE START SIGNAL CHECK
With ignition switch OFF,
disconnect couplers from ECM.
Is 6 – 12V voltage applied to
A11 terminal of coupler only
when cranking engine.
B-8 TRANSMISSION RANGE SIGNAL
("R", "D", "2", OR "L" RANGE SIGNAL) CIRCUIT CHECK
(4 A/T VEHICLE ONLY)
STEP
1) With ignition switch OFF, disconnect couplers from ECM.
2) Turn ignition switch ON and check voltage at C14 terminal
of coupler under each condition given below.
Selector lever in "P" or "N" range position: 10 – 14V
1
Selector lever in "R", "D", "2" or "L" range position: 0 – 1.5V
Is check result satisfactory?
