STARTING MOTOR
The starting motor consists of parts shown in below and has permanent magnets mounted in starting motor yoke
(frame).
The magnetic switch assembly and parts in the starting motor are enclosed in the housings so that they will be
protected against possible dirt and water splash.
: TIGHTENING TORQUE
: Do not reuse
1. Front housing
2. Bush:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010 to
inside and outside.
3. Snap ring
4. Pinion stop ring
5. Pinion gear
6. Over-running clutch
7. Lever:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010 to joint
of magnetic switch and over-running clutch.
8. Plunger:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010 to plunger.
9. Plate
10. Seal rubber
11. Magnetic switch
12. Ball:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010.
13. Internal gear:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010 to
teeth of gear.
14. Planetary carrier shaft:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010 to
gear teeth of shaft.
15. Planetary gear:
Apply lithium grease 99000-25010 to
teeth of gear.

Apply lithium grease 99000-25010
to inside and outside.
23. Brush spring
24. Nut
