Restarting the tire pressure monitor

Requirements:
The recommended tire pressure is correctly

set for the respective operating condition on
each of the wheels (
Restart the tire pressure monitoring sys‐

tem in the following situations:
The tire pressure has changed.

The wheels or tires have been changed or
-
newly installed.

Use Current Pressures as New Refer-
ence Values
message appears in the multi‐
function display.
Confirm the message to initiate a restart.

Tire Press. Monitor Restarted
appears in the multifunction display.
Current warning messages are deleted and
the h yellow warning lamp goes out.
After you have driven for a few minutes, the
system checks whether the current tire pres‐
sures are within the specified range. The cur‐
rent tire pressures are then accepted as ref‐
erence values and monitored.

tics and lead to brake failure.
Observe the load rating of the tires.
