Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• The cassette has no Cassette Memory.
c Use the cassette with Cassette Memory (p. 106).
• The Cassette Memory is full.
c Erase unnecessary title (p. 108).
• The cassette is set to prevent accidental erasure.
c Slide the write-protect tab to REC (p. 215).
• You tried to superimpose a title on a blank portion of the
tape.
c Superimpose the title to the recorded portion (p. 106).
• The cassette has no Cassette Memory.
c Use the cassette with Cassette Memory (p. 110).
• The Cassette Memory is full.
c Erase unnecessary data (p. 111).
• The tape is set to prevent accidental erasure.
c Slide the write-protect tab to REC (p. 215).
• The input selector on the VCR is not set correctly.
c Set the selector correctly, then check the connection
between the VCR and your camcorder (p. 88).
• Your camcorder is connected to DV equipment of other
than Sony using the i.LINK cable.
c Set it to IR (p. 88).
