Preventing accidental erasure
– Image protection
To prevent accidental erasure of important images, you can protect selected images.
The POWER switch should be set to
Operate by touching the panel.
(1) Press INDEX.
(2) Press - MARK. The screen to protect the image appears.
(3) Press the image you want to protect. The - indicator appears above the
protected image.
To return to FN
Press EXIT.
To cancel image protection
Press the image you want to cancel image protection for in step 3 again.
The - indicator disappears from the image.
Note
Formatting erases all information on a "Memory Stick," including protected image data.
Check the contents of the "Memory Stick" before formatting.
If the write-protect tab on the "Memory Stick" is set to LOCK
You cannot protect an image or vice versa.
