When you select image quality
The number of images you can shoot in the currently selected image quality appears on
the screen.
Meaning
Not to record continuously
To record from 4 to 13 images continuously
(p. 122)
To record 3 images continuously with different
exposure
To record still images in the fine image quality
mode (p. 116)
To record still images in the standard image
quality mode
To record still images in 1152 × 864 size (p. 117)
To record still images in 640 × 480 size
To record moving pictures in 320 × 240 size
(p. 118)
To record moving pictures in 160 × 112 size
To display the remaining capacity of the
"Memory Stick" in the following cases:
• For 5 seconds after setting the POWER switch
to MEMORY or VCR and inserting the
"Memory Stick"
• When the remaining capacity of the "Memory
Stick" is less than 2 minutes after setting the
POWER switch to MEMORY
• For 5 seconds from the start of moving picture
recording
• For 5 seconds after completing moving picture
recording
To always display the remaining capacity of the
"Memory Stick"
To create a new folder (p. 142)
To cancel creating a new folder
To choose a recording folder (p. 143)
To assign numbers to files in sequence even if the
"Memory Stick" is changed. However, the file
number sequence is reset when a new folder is
created or the recording folder is changed.
