PERATING NSTRUCTIONS
•
Your air conditioner may not start cooling or heating
immediately after the ON/OFF button is pressed.
Allow for about 3 minutes to let the air conditioner
start running automatically. Also the air conditioner,
when restarted, will only blow air for about 3 minutes
before the cooling or heating operation is resumed.
•
Avoid frequent mode transfers between cooling and
heating, which may cause a problem.
•
The air conditioner is liable to malfunction due to
abnormal signals caused by lightning or high
frequency interference. If this has occurred follow
the manual restart procedure.

•
During heating operation in winter, the heat
exchanger in the outdoor unit may become frosted
due to the condition of low ambient air temperature,
with the result of declining heating capacity.
Therefore the air conditioner automatically carries
out defrosting.
CHR, KHR, SHR, PGR units only
•
During defrosting operation, the GREEN LAMP stays
on and the blowers in the indoor and outdoor units
are stopped. A misty current of chilled air may rise
from the outdoor unit at this time, but this is not a
sign of failure.
REMAINING UNITS
•
During defrosting operation, the DEFROST display
stays on and the blowers in the indoor and outdoor
units are stopped. A misty current of chilled air may
rise from the outdoor unit at this time, but this is not
a sign of failure.
•
The defrosting operation is completed in less than
12 minutes.

Il est possible que l'appareil ne démarre pas
immédiatement le cycle de refroidissement ou de

Außenanlage werden abgestellt. Die Außenanlage

nebligen Kühlluftstrom ab. Dabei handelt es sich
jedoch nicht um eine Störung.
ANDERE ANLAGEN
•
Während des Entfrostens bleibt die Anzeige
DEFROST (ENTFROSTEN) eingeschaltet; die
Gebläse in der Innen- und Außenanlage werden
abgestellt. Die Außenanlage gibt zu diesem
Zeitpunkt möglicherweise einen nebligen
Kühlluftstrom ab. Dabei handelt es sich jedoch nicht
um eine Störung.

Das Entfrosten dauert weniger als 12 Minuten.
