Creating and writing programs

Structure of an NC program in ISO format

A machining program consists of a series of NC blocks. The
illustration on the right shows the elements of a block.
The control numbers the blocks of a part program automatically
depending on the
blockIncrement
The
blockIncrement
machine parameter (105409) defines the
block number increment.
The first block of a program is identified by %, the program name
and the active unit of measure.
The subsequent blocks contain information on:
The workpiece blank
Tool calls
Approaching a safe position
Feed rates and spindle speeds, as well as
Path contours, cycles and other functions
The last block of a program is identified by N99999999, the
program name and the active unit of measure.
Danger of collision!
The control does not automatically check whether collisions can
occur between the tool and the workpiece. There is danger of
collision during the approach movement after a tool change!
If necessary, program an additional safe auxiliary position
