Starting a sharing conversation

You can access the Avaya Aura
example, you can access them during an already established voice conversation, or you can start a
sharing conversation without establishing a voice conversation with the remote party.
Tip:
To use sharing capabilities during a call, your Avaya Aura
voice enabled.
With the exception of the Send Web Push command, the Sharing actions are only available when
the other user is also using the Avaya Aura
Client.

Starting a sharing conversation during a call

About this task
Use this procedure to start sharing during a voice conversation.
Procedure
1. Make or answer a call.
2. Click Share in the active Conversation window or select Multimedia > Sharing.
The Conversation window displays the sharing control panel.
3. Select the sharing tool you want to use.

Starting a sharing conversation without a call

About this task
Use this procedure to start a Sharing Conversation without initiating a call.
Procedure
1. Select a Friend or a contact entry with a valid SIP address.
2. Right-click the Friend or contact entry and select Sharing, or select Multimedia > Sharing.
