2. Double-click Mail.
3. Click Show Profiles.
4. Select the profile you want to remove.
5. Click Remove.
6. Click OK to save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving your changes.

Automatic software updates

For automatic software upgrades, you need to download the Automatic Software Upgrade (ASU)
packages. The downloaded ASU packages is saved under the user profile directory, \<user profile
directory>\<install directory name>\ For example, \users\winuser\Avaya Aura AS 5300
Office Client\.
When you launch the Avaya Aura
automatically checks to see if there is a need to update the software. The Avaya Aura
Office Client retrieves the updates automatically from the server, with no action required on your
part. When the updates are downloaded and ready to install, an icon appears in the notification area
of the header section. Updates are applied only after you click the icon in the toolbar.
Tip:
You must have administrator privileges on your computer to install the software updates.
1. To install the application, click Updates available in the notification bar.
2. A prompt appears, asking you to confirm the installation of a new version. If you agree to
update the software, the application
• alerts you that Outlook must be restarted.
• applies updates.
• automatically closes the database.
If you do not agree to update the software, the notification remains until you apply the
update.
After restart, the application automatically verifies that you restarted Outlook.
If you did not restart Outlook, the Avaya Aura
restarts after you initiate Outlook.

Manually checking for software updates

To manually check for software updates, select Multimedia > Check For Software Update.
