AS 5300 Office Client users with Windows 2000 may need to install a QoS Packet

Use this procedure to install QoS enhancement.
Procedure
1. On your desktop, click Start and select Settings > Control Panel.
2. Select Network and Dial-up Connections.
3. Double-click your network connection. (This is usually the first item under Make New
Connection.)
A Connection status window appears.
4. Click Properties.
A Connection Properties window appears.
5. Click Install.
A Select Network Component Type window appears.
6. Select Service and click Add.
A Select Network Service window appears.
7. Select QoS Packet Scheduler and click OK.
The QoS Packet Scheduler now appears on the list of components in the Connection
Properties window.

Configuring multiple profiles

If you are a laptop user, you may have different configuration needs, depending on where you are
located (for example, at work or at home). Often, the configuration of the Avaya Aura
Office Client in one location is not correct when your laptop is connected in a different location.
