In the <Mask> group, press the button for the group of
the effect to which you want to apply the mask, turning
it on.
Effect Gp1: Posterization, Solarization, Nega, Sepia,
Mono, Contrast, Mosaic, Sketch, Metal
Effect Gp2: Defocus, Blur, Glow
Notes
On the MKS-6570 and MVE-8000A, [Effect Gp1] and
[Effect Gp2] cannot be turned on at the same time.

Notes on applying a mask effect with a
DME (only when using the MVE-9000)
In the <Mask> group of the DME >Video Modify >Mask
menu (4127), if [Effect Gp1] and [Effect Gp2] are
simultaneously set to On, then the border or beveled edge
is also masked.
The following explains this with the example of using a
circular mask pattern.
