Configuring OSPFv3 FRR to specify a backup next hop using a routing policy
Before you perform this task, use the apply ipv6 fast-reroute backup-interface command to
specify a backup next hop in the routing policy to be used. For more information about the apply
ipv6 fast-reroute backup-interface command and routing policy configuration, see
routing

To configure OSPFv3 FRR to specify a backup next hop using a routing policy:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter interface view.
3.
(Optional.) Disable LFA on
an interface.
4.
Return to system view.
5.
Enter OSPFv3 view.
6.
Enable OSPFv3 FRR to
specify a backup next hop by
using a routing policy.
Configuring BFD for OSPFv3 FRR
By default, OSPFv3 FRR does not use BFD to detect primary link failures. To speed up OSPFv3
convergence, enable BFD for OSPFv3 FRR to detect primary link failures.
To configure BFD control packet mode for OSPFv3 FRR:

Enter system view.

Enter interface view.
3.
Enable
packet mode for OSPFv3
FRR.
To configure BFD echo packet mode for OSPFv3 FRR:
