pins 8 through 11.
Check output of IC3
pin 1.
Measure resistance of
read/write head wind-
ing.
Replace IC4.
Replace capacitors C 11
through C13 in order.

Possibly tape is bad or
MAPLE board has a
problem. Clean read/
write head and pinch
roller. Then, test
read/write again.
