You can also use the following command to save the running configuration
settings:
Filo# write memory
Either command saves to NVRAM the configuration settings that you created
while in the global configuration mode.
If you do not save the running configuration settings to NVRAM, your
configuration settings will be lost the next time you reload the system.
To display the running configuration settings stored in NVRAM, enter the
show startup-config command at the privileged EXEC mode prompt on the
system console. This command displays output in the form shown in the following
example:
Depending on the image version of the Cisco IOS software running on your
Cisco 12404 router and the way it is equipped, the results of your show
startup-config command might be different.
