3 . Storage
If the motorcycle is not to be used for a long
time. remove the battery and have it stored.
The following instructions should be ob-
served by shops equipped with cha rger.
a . Recharge the battery
once a
month .
b. Store the battery in a cool. and dry
place.
c. Recharge the battery before reinstal-
lation.

Circu it
1. A.C. Circuit Output Test
W ith all A.C. lights in operation the
circuit will be balanced and the voltage
will be the same at all points at a given
r/min.
a . Switch Pocket Tester to "AC20V" posi-
tion.
b . Connect positive (
+)
test lead to blue
Connection and negative ( - ) test lead
to a good ground.
c. Start engine. turn on lights and check
voltage at each engine speed.
If measured volt age is too high or too
low. check for bad connections. dam-
aged wires. burned out bulbs or bulb
capacities that are too large throughout
the A.C. lighting circuit.

3. Stockage
Si la motocyclette ne doit pas etre utilisee
pendant une longue periode. enlever la
batterie et la stocker. Les instructions
suivantes doivent etre suivies par les mag-
asins munis d'un chargeur.
a. Recharger la batterie une foi s par mois.
b.
Stocker la batterie dans un endroit frais et
sec.
c. Recharger la batterie avant de la remettre
en place sur la motocyclette.

A. Essais et Controles de l'Eclairage
Circuit C.A.
I. Essai du debit du circuit C.A.
Taus les feux C.A. etant allumes, le circuit
sera equilibrc et la tension sera la meme
a
tous les points; pour un regime donne.
a. Mettre le testeur de poche sur la position
"AC20V''.
b. Connecter le

du testeur au
raccordement bleu. et le fil negatif ( - ) du
testeur
a
une bonne masse.
c. Dcmarrer le moteur, allurner l'eclairage et
controler la tension pour chaque regime du
moteur.
Si la tension rnesuree est trop forte
OU
trop
faible. controler s'il a de mauvaises con-
nexions. des fil s endomrnages. des
ampoules grillees ou de trop forte capacitc.
