How to Bleed the Pl atform R otator
How to Bleed the Platform
Rotator
Note: This procedure will require two people.
1
Move the function enable toggle switch to
either side and activate the platform rotate
toggle switch to the right and then to the left
through two platform rotation cycles. Then
hold the switch to the right position until the
platform is fully rotated to the right.

Place a suitable container underneath the
platform rotator.

Open the top bleed screw on the rotator, but
do not remove it.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to
squirt or spray.

Platform Components

Move the function enable toggle switch to
either side and hold the platform rotate toggle
switch to the left position until the platform is
fully rotated to the left. Continue holding the
toggle switch until air stops coming out of the
bleed screw. Close the bleed screw.

Open the bottom bleed screw on the rotator,
but do not remove it.

Move the function enable toggle switch to
either side and hold the platform rotate toggle
switch to the right position until the platform is
fully rotated to the right. Continue holding the
toggle switch until air stops coming out of the
bleed screw. Close the bleed screw.
7
Clean up any hydraulic oil that may have
spilled.
8
Rotate the platform fully in both directions and
inspect the bleed screws for leaks.
