YAMAHA POWER VALVE SYSTEM (Y.P.V.S.)
TROUBLESHOOTING
Check the main switch.
OK NO CONTINUITY
Check the servomotor operation.
OK DOES NOT MOVE
Check for voltage on the condenser coupler.
OK OUT OF SPECIFICATION
Check the condenser.
OK OUT OF SPECIFICATION
Check the stator coil.
CORRECT INCORRECT
Correct connection and/or replace CDI
unit and/or rectifier/regulator.

SERVOMOTOR DOES NOT MOVE.

Replace the main switch.
Replace the servomotor.
Correct connection and/or replace the rectifier/
regulator.
Replace the condenser.
Replace the AC magneto.
