Risk of electromagnetic interference
Do not operate the Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600 with an empty module slot. If you
need to replace a failed module and you do not have a replacement module, leave the failed
module installed or install a filler panel. Operating the switch with an empty module slot can
cause electromagnetic interference to other equipment in the area. Improper equipment
cooling can also result.
