Perform the procedure in this section to clean the 8006 or 8010 chassis fans and ensure
optimum system cooling.
Caution:
Risk of equipment damage
Avaya recommends that you power down the chassis before you clean fans and vents. If
you oprate a system for more than five minutes without a operational fan tray or cooling
module, equipment damage can occur.
Procedure steps
1. Loosen the two retaining screws that fasten the fan tray or cooling module to the
