Installing the NIC

1 Power OFF the printer.
This section contains two sets of instructions:
• "Installing the NIC" (page C-49)
• "Removing the NIC" (page C-54).
These instructions apply to both the 10/100 Ethernet and the Token Ring
Network Interface Cards (NIC).
Follow the procedure below to install a NIC. To install the card you
will need either a Phillips head screwdriver or a hex-head nut driver.
2 Disconnect the printer GFI power cord.
Disconnect any cables attached to printer
ports.
