used for CHAP authentication, and displayed at the prompt in the
Command Mode.

Enter the geographic location (up to 31 characters) of your Prestige.

2.10 ISDN Setup Menus
Menu 2 is for you to enter the information about your ISDN line. Different telephone companies
deploy different types of switches for ISDN service. Depending on the switch for your particular
installation, you will have a different number of telephone numbers. If you are in North America,
you may also have SPIDs (Service Profile Identifiers). The SPID is a number used by a switch for
identification purposes. Make sure that you have the correct and complete telephone numbers and
SPIDs. You need to pass the ISDN setup before your system can make an outgoing call or answer
an incoming call. The following table will help you decide the number of telephone numbers and
SPIDs (if any) for your geographic location. The majority of switches in North America run NI-1.
