Subscribing to a Class C or Single
User Internet Account
Menu 1 - General Setup
1. System Name - give Prestige 128 a name
2. Route IP - select 'Yes'
Please see Chapter 3 in the User's Manual for more
detailed information.
Menu 2 - ISDN Setup
Note: The 128 uses an S/T interface while the 128U uses
a U interface.
Gather the following information from your ISDN service
provider (telephone company).
North American ISDN Setup
1. Switch Type - Select your ISDN switch type.
2. B Channel Usage - In most cases, this will be
'Switch/Switch'. If you are only using one B channel
(e.g., your Prestige is sharing the ISDN BRI line with
another device on the S/T bus). Then select
'Switch/Unused'.
3. 1st Phone # - Enter the 1st phone number given to
you by your telephone company.
4. SPID # -Enter the 1st Service Profile Identifier if
your telephone company provides this number.
5. 2nd Phone # - Enter the 2nd phone number if your
telephone company provides this number.
6. SPID # -Enter the 2nd Service Profile Identifier if
your telephone company provides this number.
DSS1 & 1TR6 ISDN Setup
1. Switch Type - This field is fixed as the DSS1 or
1TR6.
2. B Channel Usage - This field is fixed as the
Switch/Switch.
