4.2.3 Thermal Switch

DANGER
The heat sink and resistor assembly becomes
very hot. Be sure the assembly is cool
before performing maintenance near the
thermal switch.
Removal
1. Power down.
2. Remove the printer covers (4.2.1) steps
1 through 3.

Unsolder the thermal switch leads.
Remove two nuts
Pl
and the thermal
switch (SW4).
Replacement
Replace in reverse order of removal, and restore
power to printer.
