Removing/Installing Van Seat from/onto Van Seat
Frame
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to
FIGURE 9.8.
1. Remove the van seat frame from the
wheelchair. Refer to
Installing/Removing Van Seat Frame
on page 76.
2. Remove the four mounting screws, two
washers, and two spacers that secure
the van seat to the seat frame.
3. Replace the van seat or the seat frame.
4. Secure new/existing van seat to the
new/existing van seat frame with
existing four mounting screws and
spacers. Torque to 75 in-lbs (6.25 ft
lb)(8.47 Nm).
5. Install new van seat assembly onto the
wheelchair. Refer to
Installing/Removing Van Seat Frame
on page 76.
