iii. Place the wheel hub onto the drive shaft, spin the wheel hub to evenly
distribute the Super Lube over the entire drive shaft. Remove the wheel hub
from the drive shaft.
iv. Insert the 3/16 X 1 1/4 inch key into the keyway of the drive shaft.
v. Place the wheel hub onto the drive shaft.
NOTE: Align the slot in the wheel hub with the key on the drive shaft.
vi. Secure the wheel hub to the drive shaft with washer and locknut.

Removing/Installing GB Motor Spacer

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 14.4.
Removing
1. Remove the drive wheel from the wheelchair. Refer to Removing/Installing Drive
Wheels on page 138.
2. Remove the four locknuts that secure the GB motor spacer to the GB motor.
Installing
1. Secure the new/existing GB motor spacer to the GB motor with the existing four
locknuts. Tighten locknuts to 160 in-lbs (13.3 ft-lbs)(18.03 Nm).
2. Reinstall the drive wheel onto the wheelchair. Refer to Removing/Installing Drive
Wheels on page 138.
