Engine Starts Then Stalls
NOTES:
Clear DTCs and confirm proper operation
with no check engine lamp. Codes can be
cleared using DIGITAL TECHNICIAN (Part
No. HD-44750).
After replacing Electronic Control Module
(ECM) or TPS, TPS zero set procedure
must be performed. Refer to THROTTLE
POSITION SENSOR in the appropriate
BUELL SERVICE MANUAL.
Turn Ignition Switch OFF. Place transmission
in gear and disengage clutch. Turn Ignition
Switch ON and attempt to start engine.

Turn Ignition Switch OFF. Lower
the Side Stand (HDI vehicles only).
Place transmission in neutral and
release clutch. Turn Ignition Switch
ON and attempt to start engine.
Does engine start and stay running?
YES
