FTP Files onto the Meridian SL-100

Nortel Optivity Telephony Manager for Meridian SL-100 2.0
firmware download
Nortel Optivity Telephony Manager for Meridian SL-100, 2.0, provides
firmware management for the M3900 series digital telephones: M3902,
M3903, M3904, and M3905. The firmware download process is executed
in Optivity Telephony Manager for Meridian SL-100 using the Expec
controller card (NT7D07BA) in the EIPE.
Since there is no upgradeable firmware load for the M3901 set, the M3901
set is not supported with this tool.

Action
Identify the IP address to the server or computer.
a FTP Connection: FTP "xx.xx.xx.xx" <IP address identified
above>
b Enter User ID: <If Required>
c Enter Password: < If Required>
d Enter Command: LS <Used to locate firmware file on server>
e Enter Command: lcd :/S00dpmld < s00dpmld or s01dpmld>
f Enter Command: binary
g Enter Command: lrecl '345'
h Enter Command: Get 'M3903v80.bin345' 'M3903V80'
The second entry must be in upper case.
After download is completed, Enter Command: Quit.
The file is now on SLM drive. Use Optivity Telephony Manager
for Meridian SL-100, 2.0 to download the files to the M3900
telephones.
view firmware loads on the connected EIPE
initiate the transfer of M3900 firmware to the EIPE
delete firmware loads from the EIPE
view the space remaining on the EIPE for M3900 firmware loads
