Firmware download process overview

The M3900 firmware download process provides information regarding
the capability to download new firmware versions to the M3900 series
digital telephones. Firmware download provides a way for installed M3900
telephones to be updated to the appropriate firmware release level on the
Meridian SL-100. The latest generally available firmware files are available
at no charge on the Nortel web site for Meridian SL-100 customers.

Action
Press the Options key on the M3902, M3903, M3904, or M3905
telephone set.
Scroll to the "Display Diagnostics" option, using the up or down
navigation keys.
Press the Select softkey.
Scroll to the screen that shows firmware version using the up or
down navigation keys.
The bottom line of the screen should display Flash: X.X to LX.X.
The first number after flash indicates the current firmware version
of the telephone.
