Connecting a TV with 21-pin SCART terminal connections

• Some discs contain copy prohibit signals. If such discs are played via a VCR, the copy prohibit
system may cause disturbance in the picture.
• Set the "TV TYPE" in "VIDEO SETUP" in "SETUP" in "HELP" to comply with your TV's video
format. When the TV is PAL formated, set to PAL.
• When the switch is set to the SCART position, the video signal is not output from the
components.
• Output video signals to the TV using the SCART connector.
The DVD function outputs RGB signals. Other functions output video signals.

To change the speaker cable

Refer to the procedure below if you want to switch to a different speaker cable. This example

Connecting the antenna terminals

• An F-type FM antenna cable plug can be connected directly.
• If the FM antenna cable's plug is not of the F-type, connect using the F-type antenna adapter
