Using the U-shaped Ruler (Calibration Ruler)

The U-shaped Ruler (Calibration Ruler) is designed to work with the film template.
When scanning a film, it is helpful to position the film properly. Before placing the
template on the scanner glass surface, make sure first that the U-shaped Ruler has
been put on the scanner glass surface.
To place the U-shaped Ruler, follow the steps below:
1. Find out two Alignment Reference
Marks (" ") and holes locating on
the both sides of the scanner's upper
front surface.
2. Using the Alignment Reference
Marks as a point of reference to place
the U-shaped Ruler, insert the tabs at
the back of the ruler into the holes on
the both sides of the scanner's upper
front surface, making sure that it has
been oriented correctly.
