• Connecting a Wi-Fi Direct Certified Mobile Device
The following is a typical procedure for connecting a mobile device to the printer using Wi-Fi Direct. The procedure
varies depending on the mobile device you are using. Refer to the manual provided with your mobile device.

From the mobile device, start the procedure to connect using Wi-Fi Direct.
For the invitation of Wi-Fi Direct connection, the Wi-Fi Direct LED and
panel starts flashing.

Press the (Start) button to accept the invitation.
NOTE:
• If you want to change the printer's group role of the Wi-Fi Direct network, select Group Role under the Wi-Fi Direct
Setup menu.
• Connecting a Wi-Fi Direct Certified Mobile Device With PIN Code
The following is a typical procedure for connecting a mobile device to the printer using Wi-Fi Direct PIN code. The
procedure varies depending on the mobile device you are using. Refer to the manual provided with your mobile
device.
NOTE:
• Before you connect the mobile device to the printer, confirm that WPS Method is set to PIN Code.

From the mobile device, start the procedure to connect using Wi-Fi Direct PIN code.
When the mobile device tries to connect through the Wi-Fi Direct network using the PIN code, the Wi-Fi Direct
LED starts flashing.

Click Start  All Programs  Fuji Xerox  Fuji Xerox Printer Software for Asia-Pacific  your printer 
Printer Setting Utility.
NOTE:
• The window to select a printer appears in this step when multiple print drivers are installed on your computer. In this
case, click the name of the desired printer listed in Printer Name.
The Printer Setting Utility appears.

Click the Printer Maintenance tab.

Select Network Settings from the list at the left side of the page.
The Network Settings page is displayed.

Confirm the PIN code under Wi-Fi Direct Setup.
NOTE:
• To confirm the PIN code, you can also print it by clicking Print of Print PIN Code.

Input the PIN code to the mobile device.
For the invitation of Wi-Fi Direct connection, the Wi-Fi Direct LED and
panel starts flashing.

Press the (Start) button to accept the invitation.
