Purpose:
By c onnecting t o t he w ireless n etwork, y ou d on't n eed t o u se c able o f a ny k ind f or n etwork c onnection, w hich
is v ery c onvenient f or t he a ctual s urveillance a pplication.

4.1 Configuring W i-­‐Fi C onnection i n M anage a nd A d-­‐hoc M odes
Before y ou s tart:
A w ireless n etwork m ust b e c onfigured.
Wireless C onnection i n M anage M ode
Steps:
1) Enter t he W i-­‐Fi c onfiguration i nterface.
Configuration> A dvanced C onfiguration> N etwork> W i-­‐Fi
2) Click S earch t o s earch t he o nline w ireless c onnections.
3) Click t o c hoose a w ireless c onnection o n t he l ist.
4) Check t he c heckbox t o s elect t he N etwork m ode a s M anage, a nd t he S ecurity m ode o f t he n etwork
is a utomatically s hown w hen y ou s elect t he w ireless n etwork, p lease d on't c hange i t m anually.
Note: T hese p arameters a re e xactly i dentical w ith t hose o f t he r outer.
5) Enter t he k ey t o c onnect t he w ireless n etwork. T he k ey s hould b e t hat o f t he w ireless n etwork
connection y ou s et o n t he r outer.

Steps:
1) Choose A d-­‐hoc m ode.
